Eboné Carrington is a Managing Director with Manatt Health, an interdisciplinary policy and business advisory practice of Manatt. Based in New York, Eboné leads the firm's Health Equity Operations and Strategy Practice, where she advises health systems, academic medical centers, government agencies, and community-based organizations on designing and implementing patient-centered strategies that advance health equity, improve access to care and strengthen organizational performance. Drawing on decades of executive leadership within complex health care organizations, she partners with clients to operationalize innovative care delivery models that improve outcomes for historically underserved, vulnerable and medically complex populations while advancing organizational transformation.

Eboné's extensive experience managing, developing and co-creating community-centered programs enables her to help providers translate health equity principles into practical, sustainable operational strategies. Working at the intersection of strategy, operations and community engagement, she advises organizations on identifying and measuring health disparities, designing interventions for socially and medically complex populations, optimizing ambulatory and inpatient care delivery, strengthening care coordination and developing patient-centered models that improve access, quality and health outcomes. Her work spans the full continuum of care, from redesigning ambulatory workflows for vulnerable populations to supporting Level I trauma centers, reducing avoidable length of stay, improving patient flow and enhancing performance across safety net health systems. Eboné's approach combines technical rigor with operational practicality to ensure that every solution is grounded in the needs of patients and the communities they serve.

Before joining Manatt, Eboné served as Chief Executive Officer of NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, where she led initiatives that improved revenue performance, enhanced patient experience, reduced hospital readmissions by 10 percent and eliminated a $40 million budget deficit. Under her leadership, Harlem Hospital advanced significant organizational transformation, including redesigning operating models, implementing enterprise-wide change management strategies and cultivating a culture of high reliability. She also directed the hospital's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, overseeing all aspects of inpatient, outpatient, emergency department and operational preparedness during one of the most challenging periods in the history of the nation's largest public health system.

Prior to her tenure at Harlem Hospital, Eboné served as Chief Quality Officer for Interfaith Medical Center, where she led quality, regulatory compliance, accreditation, patient safety and performance improvement initiatives. In that role, she oversaw root cause analyses for Department of Health reportable events and led multidisciplinary efforts to improve clinical quality, operational performance and patient outcomes across the organization.
