Emily Shen is a consultant with Manatt Health in the Firm’s New York office.

She advises clients on health policy and health care system reform. With experience in both research and implementation, she brings a multidisciplinary background across academic, nonprofit and governmental sectors.

Before joining Manatt, Emily was a research analyst, leading and supporting statewide evaluations, feasibility studies and policy analyses for clients including state agencies and philanthropic organizations. As a graduate student, she supported public health policy initiatives at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Intergovernmental and External Affairs. She also contributed to strategic planning and administrative efforts at UChicago Medicine, developing community-academic partnerships to advance primary care and population health initiatives.
