Evan Cooper is an associate in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office.

Evan represents clients in complex commercial disputes, class actions and international arbitration matters, as well as in internal and government investigations. He has experience managing large-scale discovery, drafting dispositive motions and handling hearings and depositions across federal and state courts.

Before joining Manatt, Evan was an associate at an international law firm where he represented corporations and individuals in high-stakes litigation and arbitration proceedings. While there, he obtained emergency injunctive relief in federal court to protect a client’s billion-dollar construction project, obtained a favorable ruling on summary judgment in a Freedom of Information Act matter and served as co-chair of the firm’s LGBTQIA+ employee resource group.
