Gabriella Zoia

Gabriella Zoia is a Litigation associate in the Firm’s Boston office. She represents companies and individuals in the technology and consumer sectors in complex commercial disputes and litigation involving data privacy issues, including putative class actions under state privacy statutes, civil rights violations and enforcement actions in front of federal government agencies.

Gabriella’s practice spans technology and regulatory matters, where she guides clients through every phase of resolution—from early case assessment and strategic motion practice through discovery, motion practice, trial and appeal in matters involving data privacy state laws, complex commercial disputes and civil rights violations. She also advises clients on high-stakes incident response efforts and cybersecurity matters.

In addition, Gabriella represents companies through enforcement matters in front of federal government agencies, advising from pre-litigation investigations through resolution.

Gabriella also maintains an active pro bono practice, advising clients in immigration matters relating to asylum.

Before joining Manatt, Gabriella was a legal intern at a tech startup where she advised on contractual risk and restructured legal review guidelines. She also has experience providing legal services to clients at a nonprofit agency that seeks justice for underserved immigrants and refugees. While in law school, she advised local startups on regulatory matters and represented clients in immigration proceedings.

Prior to law school, Gabriella advised companies in their customer experience efforts and operationalized customer strategy for a cyber security startup.
