Manatt Ranked Among Top 50 Firms for Diversity by American Lawyer

The American Lawyer has recognized Manatt as a top 50 law firm for diversity, ranking Manatt 37th out of 223 surveyed U.S. law firms in its 2014 Diversity Scorecard. The firm's percentage of minority lawyers for 2013 was 18.6 percent, outpacing the 14.1 percent national average.

The scorecard tallies the number of African-American, Asian-American, Hispanic and multiracial/other attorneys in various law firm jobs. Firm rankings are based on the percentage of minority lawyers in the firm's U.S. offices and the percentage of U.S.-based minority partners.

Manatt formalized its Diversity Program in 2003 and first appeared on The American Lawyer's Diversity Scorecard in 2004. The firm considers diversity to be a fundamental component of its institutional identity and has invested a significant amount of human and financial resources to its diversity program.
