The Washingtonian named Manatt’s Deborah Kelly, a partner in the firm’s employment and labor practice, as one of Washington, D.C.’s top employment defense lawyers for 2017. Kelly is one of only 16 lawyers to be recognized in the employment defense category.
According to the publication, Washington has more lawyers than anywhere else in the country. Lawyers were selected for this year’s list through a rigorous peer-review process in which the 2015 honorees nominated those they consider the best in their fields. After conducting further interviews on initial nominees, the editors selected Washington’s top legal talent for its 2017 list.
Recognized in 2013 and 2015, this marks Kelly’s third consecutive recognition on the prestigious semiannual list.
