Manatt’s Government and Regulatory practice Leader George Kieffer and Partner Kathleen Brown were recognized for the seventh time on the Los Angeles Business Journal’s LA500 list, which honors the city’s influential and impactful executives who drive innovation in the community.
Kieffer and Brown have both been recognized annually on the LA500 list since its inception.
Kieffer was highlighted for his role as a principal co-author of the Los Angeles City Charter and leading the city’s 9/11 Task Force, as well as his longstanding position as a trusted advisor to politicians, non-profit and business leaders, and general counsel.
In her profile, Brown was noted for being recognized in for administrative and regulatory law in the Best Lawyers in America guide, as well as for her focus on the consumer financial services and infrastructure industries. Her as previous work as California state treasurer was also noted by Los Angeles Business Journal.
