Landsberg and Pimstone Recognized as 2026 Leading Commercial Litigators by Daily Journal

Manatt Health Care Litigation Partners  and  were named to Daily Journal’s 2026 Leading Commercial Litigators list. 

A leading health care litigator, Landsberg was highlighted for handling a wide range of complex and precedent-setting cases in California courts for major health care providers including hospitals and nursing homes. Among his most significant victories are Natarajan v. Dignity Health and Bichai v. Dignity Health, two decisions that are now central to hospital law in California. Landsberg was also recognized for his journey from representing large hospital systems in Washington, D.C. to joining Manatt and relocating to Los Angeles.

A prominent trial and appellate lawyer, Pimstone was highlighted for serving as lead counsel in more than 20 appellate opinions in California over the past decade, surpassing the amount published by any other health care litigator within the past 30 years. His cases have resulted in numerous precedent-setting decisions and have made new law that transformed the health law field. He has represented many health care entities including Blue Shield, Kaiser and Health Net, in significant litigation on a wide variety of matters.
