Manatt Attorneys Invited to Speak at 39th ANA/BAA Marketing Law Conference


Manatt’s own Richard Lawson and Christine Reilly are participating at the Association of National Advertisers/Brand Activation Association’s 39th annual Marketing Law Conference, a leading resource for the promotion and marketing industry.

Richard Lawson, partner in Manatt’s consumer protection practice, will lead an interactive discussion with the Director of Privacy Education and Policy of the California Attorney General’s office and the Asst. Attorney General, Bureau of Internet and Technology in New York. Lawson’s session is titled, “State A.G. Policy Enforcement Priorities in Consumer Protection—The Last Line of Defense?”

Christine Reilly, chair of the firm’s TCPA compliance and class action defense practice, will lead a roundtable breakfast discussion on “Consent, Fines and Revocation under the TCPA.”

The conference will be held November 13–15, 2017, at the Downtown Chicago Marriott.
