Manatt Entertainment Partner Nathaniel Bach will speak on copyright and artificial intelligence (AI) on behalf of Music Artists Coalition (MAC) during the U.S. Copyright Office’s “Music and Sound Recordings Listening Session,” on May 31, 2023.

The Copyright Office is hosting four virtual listening sessions on the use of AI, focusing on literary works, including print journalism, as well as software, visual arts, audiovisual works, and music and sound recordings. The “Artificial Intelligence and Music and Sound Recordings” listening session will discuss concerns and questions about generative AI and copyright law.
