Deborah Kelly to Speak at American Employment Law Council's Annual Conference
Manatt Employment and Labor Partner will speak at the American Employment Law Council's 34th Annual Conference, taking place October 20–23. Kelly is a member of the American Employment Law Council, an invitation-only organization of experienced labor and employment attorneys representing employers globally, whose members are selected through a Board-reviewed membership process.
The conference brings together labor and employment practitioners from around the world and will examine how today's polarized world is affecting labor and employment law, both legally and in practice. Sessions will address the ongoing debate over the role of the rule of law in the workplace, including whether current realities are temporary or a blueprint for the future, and identify best practices for the challenges ahead.
Deborah's session on Thursday, October 22 is titled, “Advanced Playbook for Conducting the Most Difficult and Troubling Internal Investigations,” and will offer strategies for conducting effective and privileged investigations in the most sensitive circumstances, including managing the fallout.
