Justice Mosk Retires From 2nd District Court of Appeal

Justice Richard M. Mosk Hangs up His Robes
– Daily Journal

The Daily Journal quoted Manatt's Benjamin Shatz, co-chair of the firm's Appellate practice, for an article about Justice Richard M. Mosk stepping down from the California Court of Appeal, 2nd District after 15 years of service. The judge's retirement was announced by a press release from the state court system on March 31.

"Having Justice Mosk in Division 5 for the last 15 years has been a real joy," said Shatz. "He filed a lot of dissents, more than many other justices. He seemed to have his own views and seemed to go his own way."
