Manatt’s Bruce Gyory, a senior advisor in the firm’s government and regulatory practice, was quoted by Politico for an article on Cynthia Nixon’s New York gubernatorial bid.

Gyory noted that it won’t be easy for Nixon to make inroads into New York City.

“Is she going to carry the outer borough Jewish vote? The white Catholic vote?” asked Gyory. “Will she be able to break into the Hispanic vote when the governor, probably more than any other elected official in the United States, has been seen as caring about the people of Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria?”
