Manatt’s Randi Seigel, a partner with Manatt Health, was interviewed by Bloomberg Law for an article on the federal government’s probe into managed care spending.
Seigel told the publication that there has been a “lack of confidence that states haven’t totally perfected how they’re collaborating with their Medicaid managed care organizations.”
“Certainly no one thinks Medicaid managed care plans are doing their fair share of program integrity activities and making prompt or enough referrals of potential fraudulent behaviors over to the state agencies to provide that oversight,” Seigel said.
