Blair Appointed to Board of Directors of Impac Mortgage Holdings, Inc.

Manatt’s Katherine Blair, a partner in the capital markets practice, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Impac Mortgage Holdings, Inc. (NYSE American), a financial services company that provides mortgage and real estate solutions.

Chairman and CEO of Impac, George A. Mangiaracina, shared that he looks forward to Katherine’s participation on the board, as she has been involved with Impac as a “trusted advisor” since 1995 when she served as issuer’s counsel in its initial public offering.

“We are thrilled to strengthen our Board through the addition of a respected professional with close to twenty-five years of history with and commitment to the Company,” he said. “Katherine is uniquely qualified to provide continuity and expertise across corporate governance and capital markets disciplines as we continue to reposition the business to create shareholder value.”

Blair specializes in corporate and transactional matters, working with executive officers, general counsel and others on corporate governance, SEC reporting and compliance, public and private securities offerings, and mergers and acquisitions.

Blair currently serves as chair of the Business Law Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and vice chair, publications, of the Corporations Committee of the California Lawyers Association Business Law Section. She also serves as a director on the Board of Directors of Skechers, U.S.A., Inc. (NYSE).
