Manatt Health senior managing director Patricia Boozang spoke with FierceHealthcare on the state of Medicaid work requirements following the election results in Kentucky and Virginia. In the article, Boozang noted that the expansion of work requirements for Medicaid in Kentucky is ingrained in the state, with the legislature voting twice to fund expansion. She also noted that Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin’s stance to potentially end expansion “hasn’t played out to be a very popular position.”
