Privacy and Data Security Practice Co-Leader Scott Lashway discussed the growing threat of ransomware with Business Insurance. The publication noted that experts attributed the huge surge in attacks during the pandemic to the much higher numbers of employees working from home, often on less secure systems. Lashway explained that that ransomware’s threat is more significant now because it was easier to detect when people were working together in the office.
