Manatt Entertainment Partner Eric Custer was quoted in a Reuters article about a dispute over music royalties in which Custer represents Beach Boy front man Brian Wilson.
Wilson and his first wife are currently in a legal battle, which recently moved from state court to federal court, over $6.7 million in song rights Wilson sold as well as a full accounting of royalties she says she is owed.
Custer told Reuters the matter was a “business dispute between Brian and his ex-wife” and should be resolved in federal court rather than state court.
