Manatt Represents Wornick Family in the $34M Sale of Seven Stones Winery

Manatt represented the founding family of the award-winning Seven Stones Winery in its $34 million sale to a multinational corporation with a significant U.S. presence. The sale includes a 45-acre plot of land, 3 acres of planted vineyards, a 6,600-square-foot residence and a winery in St. Helena, California.

The winery, which was developed in 1995 by Ronald and Anita Wornick, produces nearly 500 cases of wine per year. Seven Stones is the smallest boutique winery in the Napa Valley and seeks to double the size of its vineyard. The acquisition will form part of a newly established entity for its wine business.

Ray Triana represented the Wornick Estate on the transfer of the real estate, with assistance from Sharon Bauman, Veronica Cerruti, Jill Dodd, Scott Johnson and Judy Wilson.
