Manatt is proud to join Diversity Lab’s Disability Inclusion Commitments to continue building a culture of inclusion for people with disabilities. The commitments were created in an effort to outline actions organizations can take to increase inclusion and equitable access to opportunities for disabled individuals in the legal profession.
The Firm has committed to:
- Conduct an annual survey for lawyers and business professionals to identify as having a disability.
- Create opportunities for everyone in the Firm to discuss their ideas and perspectives on inclusive actions and language related to disabilities.
- Infuse the culture with inclusivity for people with disabilities and reward individuals who do the work.
Diversity Lab—which also produces the Mansfield Rule certification to ensure fair and equal opportunity to advance into leadership for people from historically underrepresented backgrounds—advocates for innovative ideas and solutions that boost diversity and inclusion in law.
