A Manatt team led by Venture Capital / Emerging Companies Partner , Technology Transactions Partner , Venture Capital / Emerging Companies Associate and Technology Transactions Associate , represented UrgentIQ, developer of an AI-native operating system for urgent care centers, in its $15 million Series A growth investment led by Five Elms Capital.

Founded by Nat Gibbs, UrgentIQ helps operators automate administrative work, move patients through care faster, and capture more of the revenue they earn by embedding AI directly into the workflows that run an urgent care center. This latest round of funding will accelerate development of UrgentIQ’s core platform, including a native billing module, advanced AI-powered diagnosis and coding capabilities, live insurance verification, and an AI checkout agent.
