Daily Fantasy Sports Sites Face Uphill Battle in NY

The attempt by the fantasy sports sites, FanDuel and DraftKings, to obtain a temporary restraining order against cease-and-desist letters from New York Attorney General, Eric Schneiderman, failed yesterday. A further hearing is set for next week, but according to the Chair of Manatt's sports law practice group, Ron Katz, in an article on Forbes.com, the daily fantasy sports sites face an uphill legal battle.
