Manatt Announces Historic Incoming Partner Class of 2021

Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, a multidisciplinary, integrated professional services firm, announced today the promotion of three attorneys to partnership. These professionals, who are members of the firm’s corporate and finance, real estate, and health care practices, reflect Manatt’s national focus and industry-leading, multidisciplinary services model. All promotions are effective January 1, 2021.

The corporate and finance practice will add one partner in Los Angeles:

  • Veronica Lah is part of the firm’s cross-industry transactional practice. She focuses her practice on corporate and financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, capital markets, corporate finance, and general corporate representation as well as early-stage and startup formation and venture financings. Lah holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.

The firm’s real estate practice has advanced one attorney to partnership in Los Angeles:

  • Elizabeth P. Levin is part of the Manatt Real Estate group. Her recent representations include: a museum client regarding its real estate design, development and construction in its ambitious plan to transform its existing museum campus; assisting a large nursing facilities operator with a multi-state, multi-property disposition and loan restructure; and representing a national grocery chain in leasing, warehousing and acquisitions. She holds a J.D. from University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law.

Manatt’s health care legal and consulting practice also advances one attorney to partnership in Washington, D.C.:

  • Allison B. Orris is a member of Manatt Health. She has deep experience in Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and the Affordable Care Act, and regularly advises hospitals, states and national association clients on the impact of emerging Medicaid legislation, regulations and subregulatory guidance. Orris holds a J.D. from Yale Law School.
