Jake Itzkowitz is an associate in the firm’s Los Angeles office. He assists local, state, and federal clients in navigating complex legal and public policy issues at the intersection of law, business, and government.
Previously, Jake was an associate for a large international law firm, where he supported complex litigation matters, including a precedent-setting victory on a securities claim under a rarely interpreted provision of securities law. He has worked actively in several local government, congressional, and presidential campaigns, for which he managed logistics and operational support, oversaw voter protection efforts, and coordinated campaign communications.
Before joining Manatt, Jake worked as a Los Angeles field representative for a California state assemblymember, coordinating media strategy and drafting local communications. Prior to law school, Jake also served as chief of staff to a New York City councilmember.
