Jeni Christensen
Jeni Christensen is an associate in the Firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Jeni supports clients navigating complex regulatory, compliance and policy issues at the intersection of labor, employee benefits and health law. Drawing on experience in both federal government and private practice, she brings a strong foundation in statutory interpretation, rulemaking and administrative law.
Jeni was selected as a Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. Department of Labor, where she worked on regulatory drafting, policy development and legal interpretation related to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act and fiduciary standards. Her work includes preparing formal guidance, conducting stakeholder engagement and supporting cross-agency collaboration on employee benefits and retirement policy.
While in law school, Jeni gained additional experience on issues ranging from financial regulation and mortgage servicing to property law and family advocacy. Prior to law school, Jeni taught secondary science as a Teach for America corps member.
