Kate McClellan is an associate in the Firm’s Los Angeles office.

Prior to joining Manatt, Kate practiced at another firm, where she represented clients across industries in mergers and acquisitions, securities filings and intellectual property (IP) transactions. She brings a strong foundation in corporate and IP law, with experience supporting public and private companies through complex deals involving securities compliance, corporate governance and technology assets.

Her background includes drafting and negotiating sophisticated transactional documents, conducting due diligence and advising on licensing, securities regulation and corporate law issues. While in law school, Kate gained direct industry experience through her legal externship at Sundance and her work with the USC Intellectual Property and Technology Law Clinic, where she focused on entertainment, copyright and privacy matters.
