Madeline Horner

Madeline Horner is a law clerk in the firm’s Los Angeles office.

Madeline contributes to work involving education, employment and public agency law, drawing on her prior work as both a litigator-in-training and an educator.

Before joining Manatt, Madeline served as a summer associate at another firm, where she researched and drafted memoranda on complex issues related to school district liability and state education laws. She also gained hands-on litigation experience drafting pleadings, assisting in witness preparation and participating in mediation sessions.

Prior to law school, Madeline taught science at Success Academy Charter Schools in New York City, where she developed and implemented data-driven lesson plans and advocated for students with learning differences. Her background in education continues to inform her of regulatory and compliance frameworks affecting public institutions.
