Marissa Korn is a senior manager with Manatt Health and is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office.

Marissa advises clients on navigating state and federal health policy, including strategies to expand affordable health coverage. She brings deep expertise in subsidized coverage programs and affordability, with a particular emphasis on Medicaid, the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplaces, and the Basic Health Program. Her work includes advising state governments on Medicaid coverage policies, Section 1332 waivers, and the development of creative solutions to improve coverage and affordability.

Prior to joining Manatt, Marissa worked in health care advocacy, advising state‑based organizations across the country on efforts to expand Medicaid coverage. She also served as a graduate policy fellow with State Health and Value Strategies, where she worked with national policy experts to provide technical assistance to state governments focused on advancing health equity and other key policy priorities.
