Matt has structured, negotiated and documented a wide variety of technology-related transactions, including IT, business process and transformational outsourcing arrangements; software licensing, development, maintenance and distribution contracts; cloud computing transactions; and hardware acquisition and maintenance agreements. In connection with this work, Matt has advised clients on numerous mergers, acquisitions, development and distribution relationships, and strategic alliances.
Prior to joining Manatt, Matt served as assistant general counsel of a global food service, sporting and hospitality company, where he assumed the role of chief legal officer for an “original six” NHL franchise, arena and associated foundation. Previously, Matt worked in business consulting as well as at several large national law firms, focusing on technology transactions, corporate, intellectual property and regulatory issues.
