Peter Tsirigotis is a Partner in Manatt’s M&A, Private Equity, Capital Markets and Finance practice with nearly 30 years of experience advising domestic and international clients on fund formation, investment management, securities and financial services regulation.

Having served in several senior-level roles throughout his career—including as regulator at both the SEC and the EPA, inside counsel at several large financial services companies, outside counsel, chief compliance officer and chief operating officer—Peter has a distinguished background overseeing the legal, operational and compliance elements of multinational private firms, as well as various public and private funds.

Peter works with a broad range of clients, including investment advisors, asset managers and financial institutions, to develop financial products and strategies, perform due diligence and navigate the complex regulatory landscape. Additionally, he has deep experience with the formation and oversight of numerous investment funds, including private equity, venture capital, real estate, mutual, hedge, and registered and unregistered proprietary funds, as well as international and offshore funds such as Cayman, AIFMD and UCITS funds.
