R. Nicholas Perkins is a litigator in Manatt’s Boston office. Nick advises investors, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, trustees, universities and a broad range of companies in complex commercial disputes and employment matters. He represents clients through every stage of litigation, including requests for injunctive relief, discovery, dispositive motions, trial and appeal. Nick’s trial experience extends to jury and bench trials, including serving as second chair. He approaches litigation – and assesses its risks and opportunities – as a business issue, developing strategies that advance clients’ long-term financial, operational and reputational objectives, both in and out of the courtroom.

Before joining Manatt, Nick served as law clerk to the Honorable James O. Browning of the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico. Prior to his clerkship, he was an associate at an international law firm. Nick worked as an equity research associate in the London office of a Boston-based mutual fund company before beginning his legal career.
