Sareen K. Armani
Sareen Armani is a senior litigation associate in Manatt’s Los Angeles office and is double barred in both New York and California. Sareen’s practice focuses on high-stakes and complex commercial disputes, corporate governance and shareholder-related disputes, as well as civil and criminal enforcement inquiries. She also focuses on proactive compliance for emerging companies. Sareen has strategically defended public and private corporations, boards of directors and high net worth individuals.
Sareen maintains an active pro bono practice, for which she has been recognized in Manatt’s pro bono honor roll. She has helped lead a team updating a crucial 50-state survey regarding domestic violence protections and represented Mississippi citizens in a Fifth Circuit appeal regarding felony disenfranchisement laws. Sareen has also represented indigent criminal defendants through the S.D.N.Y. CJA panel, including securing a favorable outcome on the eve of trial.
Sareen is recognized in Best Lawyers as “Ones to Watch” for 2026 and in Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” from 2020 to 2026.
Before joining Manatt, Sareen had unique and extensive experience in both New York and California. She was a senior associate at the Palo Alto and Los Angeles offices of a global law firm, where she represented a multinational technology company in litigation arising from one of the largest technology mergers. Sareen started her career in New York, where she worked on high-stakes matters, including representing an elected official in multiple inquiries and securing a guilty conviction following a criminal bench trial as a special prosecutor appointed by the Southern District of New York.
