Savannah Levin
Savannah Levin is an entertainment litigation associate in the Firm’s Los Angeles office. Savannah represents prominent businesses and individuals in complex civil and criminal disputes and focuses on matters within the sports and entertainment sector.
Savannah has significant expertise in all stages of litigation in federal and state courts, including drafting and arguing motions, conducting discovery, interviewing and deposing witnesses, engaging in settlement discussions and mediations, and taking cases to trial and arbitration. Notably, Savannah has second-chaired a bench trial in federal court, a 10-day evidentiary hearing in state court, and an arbitration.
A few of Savannah’s matters include the following:
- BMG Rights Management (US) LLC v. Anthropic PBC – Representing BMG in a copyright infringement lawsuit involving unlawful copying and use of BMG’s compositions to train Anthropic’s large language models.
- Clifford Joseph Harris, JR. p/k/a T.I. et al. v. Cinq Recordings LLC f/k/a Cinq Records LLC – Representing T.I. in a breach of contract dispute arising from Cinq’s refusal to honor T.I.’s contractual right to purchase his music catalogue.
- 1440 Sports Management Limited v. PGA Tour, Inc. et al. – Represented the PGA Tour defending claims against an agency alleging breach of an oral contract and tortious conduct in relation to the negotiation of a tournament sponsorship.*
- Lloyd Lake et al. v. Reginald Bush – Defended Reginal Bush against claims of defamation and alleged breach of a non-disparagement agreement.*
Before joining Manatt, Savannah worked as a commercial litigation associate at an international law firm and was a member of the firm’s Sports & Entertainment sector. While in law school, Savannah was a member of the Intellectual Property, Arts and Technology Clinic and the Entertainment and Sports Law Society. In college, Savannah excelled as a student athlete where she captained the USC Trojans women's soccer team that won the 2016 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament. After college, she played professional soccer for Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC in the Swedish Damallsvenskan.
