Scott Schwartz, partner in Manatt’s corporate and finance group, led a team of Manatt professionals and outside advisors representing Bertelsmann Printing Group’s (BPG) acquisition of Quad Graphic’s (NASDAQ:QUAD) book printing division. The complex transaction, which closed on October 31, involved the transition of hundreds of employees to BPG and multiple printing plants in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Matthew Dombroski, counsel, led environmental and real estate aspects of the transaction, and partners Sharon Bauman and David Herbst advised on compensation, benefits and employment matters.
