Manatt Expands Life Sciences and Market Access Capabilities with Addition of Kristen Cribbs

Health care strategist and HEOR leader joins Manatt Health to advise life sciences, biotechnology and health care organizations on evidence generation, value demonstration and commercialization

Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, an integrated legal and consulting firm, today announced that has joined Manatt as a director in its health care group, further strengthening the Firm’s nationally recognized capabilities in life sciences, health care strategy, market access, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), and evidence generation for life sciences, biotechnology and health care organizations.

Cribbs brings more than 15 years of experience helping health care and life sciences organizations translate complex data into actionable insights that drive business strategy, market access and growth. She has led high-impact engagements across a wide range of therapeutic areas, including oncology, immunology and rare disease, guiding clients through evidence development, payor engagement, reimbursement strategy and commercialization planning.

Cribbs has managed global market access and HEOR initiatives, including real-world evidence strategies, economic modeling, stakeholder engagement and payor communications and served as a trusted adviser to organizational leadership on operational strategy, business growth and performance management. She has also directed multimillion-dollar client portfolios and delivered data-driven insights that inform business strategy and improve health care decision-making.

Most recently, Cribbs served as vice president at a health care and life sciences consulting firm, where she led a life sciences portfolio, advising pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical technology and diagnostics companies on market access, evidence generation and value demonstration strategies. She currently serves as a Research Ethics Advisor for the City University of New York School of Public Health, providing oversight and guidance on human subjects research, and has been a steering committee member of EmergingAging NYC for more than a decade.

Cribbs is the latest addition to Manatt’s expanding bench of professionals in the health care group, including Partner , former Director of Medicaid Policy at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, Managing Director , a health care transformation leader, Senior Advisor , former Chief Informatics Officer at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation, and National Advisor , who specializes in health care financial services.

Cribbs earned her Ph.D. from City University of New York Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy, MPH from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and B.A. from Occidental College.
