A Manatt team led by Manatt Entertainment Partner Chris Chatham represented Next Century Spirits LLC, a Raleigh, North Carolina-based distillery, in establishing a partnership with writer, actor, director, producer and singer Seth MacFarlane for its recently launched Bear Fight American Single Malt Whiskey. This deal establishes MacFarlane as a brand stakeholder for Bear Fight and as its Chief Storyteller—furthering the brand’s unique voice and emulating Bear Fight’s disruptive yet approachable spirit through creative pieces as the brand expands its launch after its initial release in May 2022.
Next Century Spirits, a full-service distilled spirits and marketing company specializing in the creation and processing of distilled spirits for private label, bulk and private brands, created Bear Fight to challenge the traditional norms of single malt whiskey and rewrite the rules of the American whiskey experience.
