In connection with the investment, Francisco Partners successfully exited its investment in Muse Group, following a period of significant growth for the company.  The team also acted as borrower’s counsel in securing senior debt financing from a commercial syndicate led by JPMorganChase.  

Muse Group is a leading global platform for the music community, with a portfolio of well-known brands including Hal Leonard, Ultimate Guitar, MuseScore, Audacity and Audio.com. During Francisco Partners’ investment period, the Muse Group expanded internationally and enhanced its offerings, including its acquisition of Hal Leonard, a key milestone that strengthened its position in music publishing and education.

This transaction positions Muse Group for its next phase of growth under its current leadership team as it continues to expand its role in the music and technology ecosystem.
